Terms and Conditions

Marc Larouche operates marclarouche.com (the "Site") as an individual based in Southern California. By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may browse the Site, read its content, and contact me through it for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Interfere with the Site's operation or security, or attempt to access areas not intended for public use.
• Use automated tools to copy Site content for republication.
• Submit false information or impersonate another person or organization by email.

2. Services and pricing

The Site describes workshops, talks, consulting, and software demos. Those descriptions, including any price ranges, are informational. They are not offers and do not create a contract. A separate written agreement between you and me governs every paid engagement, and that agreement controls if it conflicts with anything on the Site.

3. Email inquiries

Do not send confidential, classified, export-controlled, or regulated information (for example CUI, PHI, or cardholder data) by email. Contacting me does not create a consulting, advisory, or confidential relationship. The Privacy Policy explains how I handle the information you send.

4. Intellectual property

I own the text, images, and design of the Site unless I state otherwise. You may view, share links to, and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You need my written permission for any other reuse.

5. Trademarks

Claude and Anthropic are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. All other product names, certification names, and logos belong to their owners. I use them only to describe my services and credentials. I am not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Anthropic or any other trademark owner named on the Site.

6. Third-party sites

The Site links to sites I do not control, including Substack, LinkedIn, inkbase.dev, and doctoraldraft.com. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

7. No warranty

I provide the Site "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. See the Disclaimer for more detail.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. My total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed 100 US dollars.

9. Indemnification

You agree to cover claims and costs that result from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the Site.

10. Governing law

California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.

11. Changes

I may update these terms. I will post the new version here and change the effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
